Eat Fresh and Local

Written by Theresa on Friday, 22 June 2012 10:32.

Stay at Marble Quarry RV park this year!It seems like everywhere you turn people are talking about eating locally and organic.  Is this possible when you are traveling?  It absolutely is when you stay at Marble Quarry RV Park in Columbia, CA.

In the nearby town of Sonora, from May until October, you will find a large variety of fresh and local food at the Sonora Farmer's Market.  The farmer's market is held in downtown Sonora from 7:30- 11:30 a.m. every Saturday.  You will find it at the corner of Theall and Stewart Streets in the parking lot.  This is a great way to support the economy of where you are visiting as well as eat healthier.  This is especially a great place to get your fruit and veggies if you are visiting from out of state as California does not let you bring those items from out of state.

Visit the Sonora Farmer's Market when you stay at Marble Quarry RV Park

The staff at Marble Quarry RV Park is excited to welcome you to their park on your next vacation.  They would love to show you exactly where the farmer's market is, as well as other fun things to do around the park, using the myCampmate app, just ask them!  Be sure to check out their listing in the myCampmate business network for more park information and to make a reservation today!
