Why Boaters Should Own a Purificup
We here at myCampmate love Purificup for its ease of use and how convenient and lightweight it is. Our outbound blogger, Bonnie, isn't really a hiker or backpacker so she's never had much use for a water filtration system. However, she sure learned how useful one can be when you are spending a day out on the lake with your family! Here's her story:
"We took our family out on the boat to celebrate Father's Day this year. We spent a long day out, had a beautiful picnic lunch, and played in the water with the kids. Our three year old started to get a little bored, so we filled up a squirt gun for her and had her squirting circles around the boat in no time. Then I caught her. She was drinking the water out of the squirt gun. Normally I fill the guns up with bottled water, just in case this happens. But since we had been out there so long, we didn't have much bottled water left, and I didn't want to waste it on a toy. Fast forward a week and a half, and our little girl has a horrible little bug from drinking that water. I didn't realize how little it would take to get a bug like that! Fortunately, this will never happen to us again. We got a Purificup that will live on the boat from now on. A Fun Day at the County Fair
